Krémer, Balázs (2013): Idős? Gondozás? Miről beszélünk? (Elderly? Care? (What are we talking about? in HU)

A tanulmány az idősgondozás hazai, és kitekintés jelleggel a nemzetközi statisztika adatait, szakmai trendjeit dolgozza fel. A halálozási adatokból megbecsüli a gondozás szükségleteit, és a szükségletbecsléseket összeveti a tényleges gondozási adatokkal. Az eltérésekből, elsősorban a fiatalabb gondozottak és a nők jelenlétének általánosan megfigyelhető, hazai túlsúlyából arra következtet, hogy az időskori gondozást ténylegesen kiváltó társadalmi okok és problémák eltérnek attól, mint amilyenekre a gondozási szakirodalom hivatkozni szokott Végül következtetéseket fogalmaz meg arra vonatkozóan, hogy miképp lehet a gondozás rendszerét a tényleges körülményekhez jobban adaptálni.

The study is about the general situation of caring in Hungary and looks at international statistics and professional trends. Mortality data estimates the needs of care and compares needs assessments with actual care data. From the differences, mainly from the generally predictable presence of younger patients and the presence of women, it is concluded that the social causes and problems that actually cause the elderly care are different from the kind that the care literature refers to. Ultimately, it provides conclusions on how to better adapt the care system to the actual circumstances.
