Closing conference with stakeholders in Hungary

The closing conference was held in Budapest, on 9th May 2019.

After the coordinator's introduction about demographic changes and carers in the 21st century, the results of the Grandis research were presented to the audience, focusing on the digital presence and usage of tools by adults over 65.

A presentation about the positive aspects of ageing was followed by a demonstration of smart devices and AI (artificial intelligence) supporting active ageing. In the afternoon participants were introduced to the e-learning platform and the online course.

The last agenda point was a demonstration of a locally available service called Medistance by an invited representative of OMRON Hungimpex Ltd.

Attendants showed a lot of interest and were open to learning new methods and using presented devices. Many of the participants registered to the online course at the premises.
